Abstract

Ziel des Vorhabens war es, dass die teilnehmenden Projektpartner das Umweltbundesamt (UBA) bei den Aufgaben zur Umsetzung der Meeresstrategie-Rahmenrichtlinie (MSRL) und der dazu erforderlichen Kooperationen auf nationaler, regionaler und EU-Ebene fachlich unterstützen und begleiten. Dazu wurden nach Bedarf und auf Anforderung verschiedene Themenkomplexe zur Weiterentwicklung von Indikatoren und Bewertungssystemen, zur Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Maßnahmen sowie zur Information der Öffentlichkeit bearbeitet.

The aim of the project was that the participating project partners provide technical support and assistance to the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) in carrying out its tasks regarding the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) and the necessary cooperation at national, regional and EU level. For this purpose, various thematic complexes for the further development of indicators and assessment systems, for the development and implementation of measures as well as for the information of the public were processed as required and on request.
